Our College Years: Love as a tool for Survival

Posted on February 28, 2022October 1, 2022 by Contributing Writers

The images in this photo essay chronicle the spring semester of 2021, the first semester back in person since the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Though we faced many challenges during that time as well as today navigating the stresses of the pandemic, through cultivating home away from home with each other, we were able to forge positive memories and safe spaces for each other through friendship. These pictures explore my friendship with Dzidedi Azumah, Amma Otchere, Kyndall Donalson, Zaporah Price, Jasselene Paz, Hema Patel and many more. Thank god for the homegirls, they have changed my life.
